Start by swiping the “Exfoliate and Smooth” towelette all over your dry and clean face until the towelette is dry, and let it soak in for two minutes. This first step will gently exfoliate your skin, so you may experience redness since the first step is intense, but the next step will help calm your skin down.

Repeat the same steps with the “Anti-Aging Neutralizer” towelette until it’s dry and the product has been soaked into your skin. This second step is the neutralizer step. This shuts off the acids in step one and delivers a cocktail of anti-aging ingredients to renew the skin. The end result is restored healthy-looking skin.

I would recommend starting with the Alpha Beta® Gentle Daily Peel if you have never used an acid peel before. If you are not a stranger to acids and are looking for a more aggressive peel, I would recommend starting with the Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel.

Although alpha and beta hydroxy acids are more stable forms of acids, they still need to be stored in a cool and dark place to preserve their effectiveness and boost their shelf life, which is why a good skincare fridge can come in handy.

I’ve always been prone to breakouts, but my skin has been clear and glowy since using this peel. I’m a huge fan of Dr. Dennis Gross’s products, but this is by far my favorite, so if you’re looking for a powerful and effective at-home acid peel, I highly recommend giving the peel a try.
