While wearing SPF daily is crucial, not all SPFs are created equally. In order for an SPF to have broad-spectrum protection, it should be clearly written on the label of the bottle. Broad-spectrum protection translates to protection from both UVA & UVB rays. If an SPF bottle does not indicate broad-spectrum, it only protects from UVB rays, while “PA++” or “PA+++” signify protection from UVA rays. All of our sunscreen’s at Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare fall under the Broad-Spectrum category and maintain an SPF of at least 30!
